The DJ Career & Entertainments Business

Greg started up his career as a DJ back in 2004 on an online radio station which was run by a professional FM Radio Presenter, this really gave Greg a true unique style of presenting himself.

Greg then after moved into management for various online radio stations which at one point involved founding and running a station. Which was a key point to his career as it gave him many  situations and experiences.

This then eventually filtered into DJin for big public events such as bars, clubs and big private functions, he brought his own setup: PA, lighting etc, so he could manage his own Entertainments Business.

But unlike most DJ's; he isn't just there to play his own music he is there to work hard with the influence of his audience to make-sure that he could portray an astonishing atmosphere so that everyone has a fantastic time.

Greg is currently a Full-time Resident DJ, at a busy town bar called "Bar Centro" in Chesterfield, and does his famous set of Chart, Dance, RnB and anything upbeat mixed and mashed-up every thurs, fri & saturday!
• Thursday nights are called "I <3 Funky Thursdays"
• Friday & Saturday nights are called "The Weekend Extravaganza"
Both these names he produced to put a slight insight to the style and the success of the night.




The Website Designing and Graphical Business

The passion for website design again started in the year of 2004, which compliments the same amount of experience as Greg's DJ and Entertainments Business.

The business started when Greg got positioned to update and maintain a hobby/group page which his friends were part of, Greg had never touched website code or even contemplated having the responsibility, but luckily enough it became an enjoyment.

Greg liked the feeling of putting a face and a concept of information on the face of the world wide web, he took this website that his friend had passed responsibility and started to learn key and adaptive skills of website design started with HTML then JavaScript, PHP and then Graphically with Adobe Photoshop.

But as always when it comes to business and design Greg is always looking for ways to improve his notions so it meant that his websites always got upgraded with the times which he felt was important, to put a face and design onto the Internet it needs to be updated to impress the visitors also known as hits in technical terms.

With 5 years experience it has mainly been for friends and family, and a touch of word of mouth but as of 2012 Greg has decided to put a business name and plan to the market.

Greg is updating a forever growing portfolio of designs for websites, promotional information, logo design etc. And is proud of the impressive and exciting edge it appears to gives out to new clients.



Greg's Personal Life

Born within a family that truly believe in fashion clothing, and also love to have a fantastic time where-ever they go. So it appears socialising is one of the main motto’s in the Beckett family, his Grandad is professional pianist and his Dad is a grade 5 pianist, and the whole family gives off a respective feel for music, which probably pushed Greg even more into one of his chosen career paths as he loved music.

As for his mum’s side; Greg always remembers the long car journeys with his mum blasting out popular pop cultured singers and groups along their way, partying and socialising was also always a key part for his mum, hosting as well as visiting regular house parties Greg was really driven into a strong passion for music, and social activity.

Greg always had a strong upbringing with his mum something of which they now laugh about, Greg was a cheeky and sometimes misbehaved child like I'm sure most of us are, but he felt to be brought up a very open minded person, he strongly believes in working hard for what he wants to achieve and also creating a friend path that respects and supports him for what he is.

His parents are both business entrepreneurs, his dad specialising in electronically engineer, repairing and installing TVs and satellite installation etc. his mother founding currently two businesses soon to be three, catering and massage at the moment. You can really see why Greg is an influenced self employed business entrepreneur himself.

All in all this makes Greg Beckett Born 27th June, a huge socialiser that DJ's every single weekend, loves making new friends and will always try his hardest to get on with everyone and have a fantastic time and laugh where-ever I go.
